This piece was a part of my treasured “Sixties Series”, which was inspired by my idea of the colors of the 60s, (though many of these pieces had 70s fashion themes as well). Nearly all of my pieces are imagined or self-portraits, though this one is based off of Maude from the movies “Harold and Maude”. This is my take on her young, sitting in the field with the flowers (white, in the movie), with her favorite flower (sunflower) on her jacket.
